Chronicles of Alan – Chapter 2: Wait, I still can’t have a Happy Meal???

Hi everyone, I’m back. What a month it’s been! I do have to say, this being a baby thing is quite the adventure. There’s a lot that went on this past month, so where do I begin………

Well first, let’s start with the people I’ve met. I met some PEOPLE!! They all wanted to hold me, talk to me, and play with me. If I had known this was going to be a thing I would have charged admission and put myself through college! I’m not kidding, look at all the people I met in the past month (including a dog named Mocha!):

2nd, we need to talk about tall guy and pretty girl. These two are totally into me! They put me to bed, they’re there when I wake up, they feed me, change my diapers and give me so much attention. I think I can get used to this. So, pretty girl keeps telling me her name. Sounds like mah-mee. So, we’ll go with that. Mahmee. Tall guy keeps calling himself da-dee. Sounds pretty cool, I’ll stick with dadee. I’m not sure what these names mean, but when I’m old enough I’m sure I’ll find their significance on Ancestry.com.

There was one big thing I got to be a part of this past month. There was a great lady named Terry, and I’m told she is my great grandma. Though I didn’t get the chance to meet her, one thing I discovered about her was how many people she helped bring into this world and how much she is loved. There was a room full of so many people, and all I saw was how much they all care for each other. To think, if one person can cause that many people to come together and celebrate her life, I feel really fortunate to be in this family. Plus, mahmee will find any excuse to dress me up. I mean, look at this outfit!

Now one thing I cannot get over is everyone telling me how cute I am. They’re always saying this, and it really got me thinking. I need to use this cuteness thing to my advantage. Is it too early to start dating? If I’m this cute, I should land someone in no time. I even have the perfect online dating profile picture:

So, as I move into my 3rd month I can’t wait to see what’s going to happen next. If the first 2 are any indication, I’m going to have so many more stories to tell you. Thank you for coming on my journey with me, it’s going to be so much fun sharing my stories with you 🙂

One last thing before I go. People keep telling me I look like dadee. At first I didn’t really see it. Then I saw this picture and said to myself “Oh, now it all makes sense”. Until next time everyone!
