Hi Everyone!
I have been so excited to share all my adventures from this past month. I’m sorry I couldn’t get to this sooner, but…..I’m 4 months old……….
First off, let me catch you up on my new routine. Mommy and Daddy have gone back to work so they don’t get to stay home with me all day. I didn’t know how to feel about this, but then I met this awesome lady named Ms. Laura!
She has a house that has lots of fun stuff for me, and there are other kids there! They are a bit older I am, but they all take great care of me. I do hope come election day they vote me Class President! I already have the best platform to run with, and I even had t-shirts made:
Now another thing I’m discovering is my love of baths. At first I wasn’t so sure, but getting to splash in water and having mommy clean me up isn’t such a bad thing. I get to just sit there and chill out.
Hey, wait just a minute. Who said you could look?? At least knock, or buy me a drink first!! Man, the perils of being adorable……….
My next big adventure was on my mommy’s birthday. We went to this place that had a LOT of really cool fish and other things in the water. There were things that lit up, scary looking things, and things that daddy kept saying would be good on a ball of rice. Not sure what that meant, but let him be him.
My favorite was meeting this BIG water turtle! I mean BIG!
We had a great conversation as he swam by. I was like “WOAH”, and he was like “WOAH”, and I was like, “Wwwwhhhooooaaaahhhhh”. Very insightful for a turtle, I truly learned a lot.
And to wrap up my adventures for the past month, there was this day that gets to be all about daddy. They call it “Father’s Day”. It took me a little bit to figure out why this day was really important, and now I understand. It’s the one day out of the year the daddies get to sit around, drink beer, watch this thing on TV called golf, and the mommies are totally OK with this! My daddy kept thanking me for giving him a reason to celebrate this day, and now I totally know why.
Plus, in order to make him feel really special, I decided to dress like him. He kept making this funny face. It took me a few times but I think I was able to nail it:
And in honor of celebrating my dad, I wrote my first children’s book. Didn’t know I was an author, did you? My daddy and I have been through a lot so far, and this book is all about how much he takes care of me. If there are any publishers out there, please give me a call 😉 I thoughtfully call this book:
DADDY NEEDS A BEER
